Two goals from Beto and one from Iliman Ndiaye boosted Everton's chances of European qualification while denting Chelsea's hopes of securing Champions League football next season. Nobody had this spot-on, but 7 did get the outcome.
BLACKBURN ROVERS 0 MIDDLESBROUGH 0
Middlesbrough dropped more points in the Championship automatic promotion race as they were held to a bore draw. Nobody got this spot-on, and only blueeagle had the outcome. 20 predicted a win for Middlesbrough.
IPSWICH TOWN 1 MILLWALL 1
Championship high-flyers Ipswich and Millwall played out a pulsating draw which saw both sides miss a great opportunity to strengthen their automatic promotion chances. Only unitedwhites and basher2010 had this spot-on, and nobody got the outcome. 20 predicted a win for Ipswich with a massive 15 going for a 2-1 in what was the weeks most predicted score.
QUEENS PARK RANGERS 6 PORTSMOUTH 1
Queens Park Rangers produced a ruthless display to thrash struggling Portsmouth, with Paul Smyth, Rayan Kolli and Richard Kone all scoring a brace. Again nobody got this spot-on, though 19 did have the outcome.
CARDIFF CITY 0 BLACKPOOL 0
Cardiff stumbled again in their bid to win promotion in League One as they were held to a deeply frustrating bore draw. No points for anyone from this game, with everyone predicting a win for Cardiff.
PLYMOUTH ARGYLE 3 HUDDERSFIELD TOWN 1
Tom Cleverley's in-form Plymouth rallied from a goal down to beat League One play-off rivals Huddersfield and climb to seventh. A final game this week with no 3 pointer, but 17 did have the outcome.
ACCRINGTON STANLEY 0 CHESTERFIELD 1
Will Dickson's second-half goal kept Chesterfield's League Two play-off hopes on track. A magnificent 7 had this spot-on, and a further 12 got the outcome.
GILLIGHAM 1 BRISTOL ROVERS 2
Rovers clinched back-to-back wins after coming from behind to defeat 10-man Gillingham. Only ghughes11 and bwildered got this spot-on, and another 5 had the outcome.
OLDHAM ATHLETIC 1 HARROGATE TOWN 0
Jake Leake scored his first goal for Oldham as they stretched their unbeaten run to nine games. Only Jorash63 and basher2010 had this spot-on, and a further 19 got the outcome.
A mixed bag of results this week, that were to be honest, more bad than good, with five games failing to have a 3 pointer. Thanks mainly to the wins for Chesterfield and Brighton, we still managed to somehow have 18 spot-ons in total, from the other five fixtures. Considering how hard 3 pointers were to find, it was an amazing achievement from basher2010 to find four of them, the wins for Brighton, Chesterfield and Oldham, and the Ipswich 1-1. He also had four outcomes, to make him the weeks top scorer with an absolutely fantastic 16 points. One member did well to get two 3 pointers, that was Lewis_1, who had the wins for Brighton and Chesterfield, and three outcomes, to give him an excellent 9 points. Best of those to get one 3 pointer was mfb_cufc, who had the Chesterfield 1-0 and five outcomes, to give him a decent 8 points.
In the Premier In what was a difficult week overall, concordman would be reasonably happy to have got five outcomes, though his lead was reduced by a point, as Jorash63 had the Oldham 1-0 spot-on. Four outcomes for Sector4 keeps him in contention for the end of season DEMS. A decent week for ghughes11 moved him up a couple of places to fourth. The decent week for mfb_cufc moved him up a place, and the current champ has now probably done enough to avoid relegation. In the relegation zone, the excellent week for Lewis_1 has finally got him off the bottom for the first time since Week 10. The great escape continues for him as he was 24 points from safety after Week 21. That gap is now 5 points, in what is looking very much like any 3 from 4 for the drop.
In DIvision One Another decent week for noah4x4, after he got the Chesterfield 1-0 spot-on, leaves him with a 26 point lead, and with only 32 games left to the season, he may not require another point to be champion. The absolutely fantastic week for basher2010 moved him up four places, and into the other automatic spot for the first time this season. A decent week for durham_exile couldn't stop him dropping a place to third. A decent week for BFG, that included having the Chesterfield 1-0 spot-on, keeps him fourth. Three outcomes for Tropical_Us drops him to fifth, the lowest he has been since Week 6, showing good consistency for him. Three outcomes also for Blue4U2, and he takes the final play-off place. A decent week for gerry_us moves him up a place, and more importantly 2 points nearer to the play-offs. Four outcomes for wessex_exile moves him up a place, and along with oxfcolu they remain in contention for the top six.
