I was rather hoping someone could tell me.
McDonut had his chance and was found sadly lacking, even allowing for the financial soap opera that is Leeds Utd. A change was necessary. Don Cellino has made clear he wants a first team coach working under a director of football rather than a manager. Fair enough. What has shocked all Leeds fans of my acquaintance is that Cellino has opted for a 56 year old whose CV isn't exactly brimming with positives...not least of which he worked with Hoofroyd at Watford. The only positive that I can see is that he will be very cheap!
It may all work out for the best but, given Cellino's penchant for managerial change, the quality of the Leeds playing staff and the new man's past performance, I suspect we will be looking for another coach around Christmas time. |  |
