Those of you that watched the Beyond 90 Minutes feature with former goalkeeping coach Yilmaz Aksoy may recall that there was a piece on it about teamsheets now having to be submitted to the officials electronically, rather than on paper.
We'll there's now been a balls up in a game with Swindon naming a wrong player in their teamsheet. It'll be interesting to see how the EFL deal with it.
Grimsby Town. got fined 20k, 10k suspended for fielding an illegal player in the League cup win on pens over Manchester Utd, earlier in the season . The players registration was received one minute after the official deadline at 12:01 pm .
For those who haven’t seen/heard it, I can heartily recommend you check out Ian Holloway’s off the chart incandescent rant about this on local radio. Remarkable really, as a professional football manager he really should have known the rules, or he did and chose to ignore them - neither is acceptable. It’ll be interesting to see what his personal punishment will be, but I wouldn’t be surprised if it’s a sizeable fine and/or lengthy ban.

What's the point in having rules, just let ManShity do as they like. I'm sure he'd be happy to change the rules to suit Arsenal FFS.
"Pure Logic" the bloke is comedy gold. Logic would have been to have signed the bloke a few days earlier.
Using the same crackpot "pure logic", I think The Arse should be given a 2-0 head start in the final, because their manager is not a knob.

LOL - at least he has asked first, fully expecting the answer to be no, rather than just chancing it. But yes, pure logic would have been don’t leave it too late to sign him.

He’s becoming worse than Fergie. Why does football allow participants to bully and argue with officials? I can’t think of any other sport that does. The rules are set before the competition starts. They are very clear. Trying to bully the governing body into bending the rules once a competition is underway is at best unsporting and at worst akin to cheating. The sooner Guardiola gets his moaning arse out of UK football the better.
I would like to thank the contributors to the article for identifying whose to blame for the recent rise in violence against their community. I’d mistakenly been under the impression that killing tens of thousands of women and children might have had something to do with it.
I’ve no doubt the Muslim owners of Man Shitty will be pissing thems…… ….sorry I mean they will be having stern words with Pep Guardiola.
Meanwhile Benny’s mate gets the FIFA Peace Prize. The human race is ####ed.
If you’d have told me we would get an anti-English, how far do you want me to stick my nose up there Mr. Trump, Muppet, then I’d have been happy to stick with the previous boss that was (allegedly) as bent as a nine-bob note.
