After storming into an early lead, there never really was going to be any doubt that Hellasblue would top the group on 11pts, even affording himself the luxury of being a no-show for two of the last 4 games. Barside Pete, substitute for the missing in action Alderney, held on for 2nd spot, with Ethics Girl leaving herself too much to do after missing 8 of the 16 predictions thanks to PDD.

Very quick update after last night's results:

Guernsey and MFB were both spot-on with Bayern's 2-0 home win against Juventus, and therefore currently hold the top two qualifying places (Guernsey top on first to post tie-break). The late late equaliser for PSG against Barca caught most on the hop (particularly Guernsey, who missed out on an impeccable x2 spot-on start by a matter of seconds), that is apart from Barside Pete who fancied the draw, and indeed with two outcomes out of two is the only player in the Group to have a return from all predictions so far.

Thrillseeker, with the only spot-on of the Group (again, Bayern's 2-0), sits top of the group, with BFG in second with two outcomes out of two. Hellas leads Sevebalo in the chase (both on one point) on the first to post tie-break, having also missed out on a Barca 2-1 spot-on prediction by a few seconds. I'll leave you all to do the maths, but suffice to say Borussia Dortmund's quite remarkable 2 goals in injury time to snatch a late late home win over Malaga spared the Happy Champions League a probably unique 'nil point' across the board for everyone. As it is, 1pt for everyone with that home win, and 0pt for everyone following Galatasaray's spirited (though fruitless) home win against Real Madrid.
