FGR -Sat . 12:22 - Feb 24 with 1114 viewsbwildered

Forest Green Rovers have put a new spin on grinding out a result by launching a new shirt partly made of coffee waste.

The shirts, which the club says are a football first, will be worn by players when they face Colchester on Saturday and will be available next season.

Players already wear shirts made of bamboo, but owner Dale Vince says using leftover coffee grounds makes them more eco-friendly and lighter to wear.

We need to decaf them at once . I will get my mug ...

bwildered - currently it is hard for me to espresso my feelings for our predicament. We need to find the right blend rather than this depresso feeling at the moment.

Perhaps it is time for a heated and strong debate. The team have got to hit us with their best shot otherwise we will simply rage against the machine.

I know that we have gone over to the darkside but there is cream at the end of the tunnel to mix my metaphors!

Wayne Brown's arrival will perk the team up and SB has experienced what it is like to be the one for whom the bean tolls.

Anyway lets stir things up for FGR this weekend and make sure they are mugged on their home ground.

Perhaps after the disappointment of the bitterness that we currently feel it might soon be sweetness and light for the U's.

Hopefully RC might spill the beans as to what has been going on at the club. There has been enough procaffeinating recently and I know we all have a latte on our minds.

Onward and upward.

Cheers

Will Wayne field his Maldon & Tiptree side?
They have a pretty good record this year, unbeaten this season!. Obviously not possible but hopefully he can instill to the U's players the confidence he has obviously imparted in the M&T players during the past seasons.

Maldon & Tiptree's season has finished. That has made it easier for Wayne Brown to be be given the interim job.

Don't suppose there is any chance that our season could be finished?

Having said that it was finished after Marine.

Southend currently beating FGR two nil. Good of them to stir up our next opponents.

Southend two up against FGR tonight!no doubt we are in a fight to the death and our cushion could rapidly disappear if we don't soon start picking up points.

Getting very concerned now the Seaweed have reduced the points gap to 6 points following their stunning win at FGR

I hate to praise anything about the Weed but sometimes you have to applaud beauty

What a goal.

Will last nights night result create a FGR rebound or knock their confidence.

We need to match last nights 3pts by the Weed on Saturday-

Wessex you are not the only one. Moseley has done a very good job considering the problems he has had to deal with all season
He was an unknown so I hope Wayne Brown can do a similar job with what on paper is a better squad.

TS he'll never score one like that again.

Ben Stevenson is capable of long range strikes but confidence is rock bottom.

FGR are there for the taking!!!!!!!!!!!!
