| Forum Reply | Swansea City : Has Andrew Coleman been in the shower for three months with Bobby at 10:35 2 May 2024
He says he was chairman from May 5th and he says he was Chairman from Aug 1st. So for three months when he was in full control and says so he did nothing ? Regards the accounts, if that’s the case then how in Spring 2023 did they agree to spend seven million pounds ?

In the lane going from the away end to the trains there were some extremely nasty scenes. The police lost it and just herded anyone and everyone on to any train that was there. |

Placheta is apparently on around 19,500 a week, not sure if we are paying all that. The move to Swansea was stated as him getting his contract taken over. But he will be lucky to get 9k a week with Swansea. And I mean very lucky. |

| Forum Reply | Swans supporters consult Kieran Maguire and when did Andy start as Chairman ? at 14:08 1 May 2024
Yesterday he said this. “These accounts represent the financial year prior to my appointment as chairman and much of the budget had already been set for the 2023-24 financial year before my arrival in Swansea in August 2023” But according to the club and elsewhere it was May 2023. Swansea City is delighted to announce the appointment of Andy Coleman, a seasoned, successful business executive, as the club’s new chairman. Coleman has also acquired a significant shareholding in the football club – which has been approved by the EFL – and will act as operating partner of the club’s majority ownership group. |

There have been some really nasty clashes over the years. Especially after the jacks really did embarrass them in I think 2007 at the new den. Plus that game at the old den when Swans fans got in to the home end in the 80’s. Thereafter in Swansea, I remember the night game where they had four coaches parked up in Sarn, apparently all manner of lunatics were out that night on both sides. You can’t be everywhere all at the same time, but they really don’t like it up em. These days anyone involved in that type of thing is risking a life changing future. But that doesn’t seem to stop everyone. |

Ntcham too, around a million. He went in august from Memory. Lati went towards the end of July. 500k. Benda went in August for a million ish. Southampton have paid half of the compensation, believed around 1.2 million. Not sure if that included the rest who left. Best we could find on Morgan was he went for a million pounds 🤷🏻♂️ plus the usual increments first team etc. but due to his age (under 18) his representatives and fee remain undisclosed. 4.7 million. ish.

Trundle is not on a lot at all. We’ve tried to get rid of Fulton before, nobody could match his wages. So he’s still here and for 2 more years ? I think.

And he is less than 6’ has a tremulous leap on him and timing. He would tear defences a new one. At the end of the day he is scoring headed opportunities in a football match, that’s applicable in any league. |
