I usually go up the night before for these type of games to avoid the rush ,relax have a few beers and enjoy the occasion, cheap train travel helps I realise that . UTS .

Got them this morning, going with a few others who can't normally go, as they are on general sale, lower tier and credit to Sheffield Wednesday for making the tickets so cheap. West Brom also on general sale, but again it's on tv and in the evening. [Post edited 14 Feb 10:48]

That's right. Coventry is on tv, Sheffield Wednesday isn't, cheaper and went to general sale. No need to worry about missing out on a Pompey ticket as you say 😉. [Post edited 14 Feb 10:40]

| Coventry away now live on sky 1230 on 20:51 - Feb 14 with 702 views | PatfromPoole | Ticket details have been released for this. They have given us a supposed “full allocation” of 2,127 tickets. How can that be a full allocation? We took more than that to Stoke for a lunchtime game, so these will go quick. Can we not get more tickets than that??? | |

Pat, cant find details, but sure it is Minimum 10 % or 2000 for capacities over 20,000 So only Oxford and Wrexham can give less than 2000. Some clubs with bigger grounds like Blackburn and Preston offer as many as you want, up to 7000, others like Norwich Watford Brum Cov stick to 2000 as they can sell the rest to their fans. We got 2700 for Pompey away as thats what we gave them [Post edited 14 Feb 21:51]

Yes that’s correct in the championship the minimum you have to give away fans is 10% or 2000 which ever is smaller. Several club give more though Blackburn, Bristol City, Charlton, Derby, Leicester, Millwall, Preston, Sheffield Utd, Sheffield Wednesday , Stoke City and this season West Brom ( 2700) have stated to give more. And of course us as well. Portsmouth normally just give away fans 2000 and many of the local were not happy they gave us 2700. As you say in the case of Blackburn and Preston then they have been giving away fans a lot more . We ply Preston as our last away game which could be a winner talks all for the playoff, in which case be expected just to get 2000.
