If there is any justice then it will be a near capacity crowd for the visit of Cardiff City.

It was great to see a capacity crowd over Christmas on not one but two occasions as Saints fans flocked to St mary's to see the then League leaders, perhaps though this allayed the claims of some who say that Saints cant expect full houses in this current climate, well I would say that if we can fill SMS twice in the week after Xmas, then we should be able to do it a month later after only one home game in that period since.

To be blunt its easy to turn up when a team is doing well, but when a team really needs its supporters is when its going through a tough time and the visit of Cardiff is almost as tough as it gets this season, its a game that could make or break the season and in that respect we need all the backing we can get to cheer the lads on.

So lets encourage all the Saints supporters we know to get down to St Mary's for this game, after all apart from the importance of the game, there is also the chance to see Tadanari Lee for the first time on home soil and it looks like Billy Sharp could well be joining him on the Saints league debutant list.

Tuesdays in January? Cold spell of weather? Economic crisis? A full house is ambitious. But I do agree, for such a big game, it would be great if there were close to (or above) 30,000. Better still if we all go to bed happy with the result.

Whilst I appreciate that people can pay their money and have their say, to boo the team after the last few years we have had is disgraceful. Everything is crossed for a win - come on lads.

But I agree this is a massive game for us to win, I'm worried that another home defeat will be devastating. Hopefully the now confirmed signing of Billy Sharp will be a massive boost, although it's too late for him to play tomorrow. But a chance to show him off, to see Tadanari Lee, the return of Rickie and Puncheon possibly Fonte, Lallana and Chaplow could see us rise to the challenge. Whatever the gate tomorrow, I'm expecting it to be a very vocal affair COYR!

Whatsforpud added 15:55 - Jan 31 Apart from the West Ham game, evenings are on average less popular than Saturdays. Most of the Juniors will be missing for a match in schooltime. Also it might seem less attractive for someone to turn out again having just got in from work. Had it been a Saturday, Cardiff, given their league position, would have filled their end, but probably not tonight.
