QPR Eyeing JET as Blues Again Linked With Green Tuesday, 24th Apr 2012 00:53 by TWTD.co.uk QPR have joined Fulham in eyeing Blues midfielder Jay Emmanuel-Thomas, according to a tabloid report. Meanwhile, Derby’s Paul Green, who TWTD revealed was a potential Town target in January, is reportedly set to join the Blues this summer having turned down a contract at Pride Park. Cottagers’ scouts have been regular visitors to Portman Road in recent months with former Arsenal youngster Emmanuel-Thomas the reason for their trips. Relegation-threatened QPR are now said to have joined them. Irish international Green, 29, was brought to Derby from Doncaster by Paul Jewell during his time in charge of the Rams. In January, the Blues boss confirmed that he had spoken to the Pontefract-born midfielder or right-back’s agent. Green has also been linked with Leeds United.
