Positives among the frustration for Pompey Monday, 6th Nov 2017 20:03 by pompey-fans.com staff Pompey have lost their last four games - but Kenny Jackett insists they have been doing many things right. And he is hoping those things transform into a positive result in the EFL Trophy clash at Charlton on Tuesday night. The FA Cup defeat at Luton followed three straight league defeats, to Doncaster. Blackburn and Bradford, but Jackett remains upbeat about many aspects of his team's play. Looking ahead to the trip to The Valley he said: 'The bottom line in football is the result and we all understand that. We’re focusing on what the players have done well — which is a high number of things in the past few games. 'There are many reasons why they can feel confident and keep the morale high, while we have to be better in key moments. We’re creating chances and taking them is something that we’re working on, as we do every week in training. 'Forward players will always want to do extra shooting as well, so it’s not something we necessarily need to up, but just keep persevering. The number of goals for is frustrating at the moment for us and we’re determined to make that improve.' Jackett has indicated Kal Naismith and Danny Rose will both get rare starts at Charlton.
