Next Bury manager?

When I was your age, I used to enjoy the odd game of tennis. Or was it golf?

They are already getting moist at the thought. What could go wrong - it's the dream ticket Stewie has been praying for............

They're not, are they? No doubt Day is getting-off largely Scot free again.

To be fair ,Grayson with 4 league 1 promotion's to his name with Blackpool,Leeds,Huddersfield and Preston would be a massive coup. Incidentally........he took over at Huddersfield 5 days after Clark was sacked.

There is a rot at Sunderland that won't be easily fixed.

Like City in the late 1990s, they haven’t bottomed out yet. Could take another relegation.

It could, but (allegedly) the brief of the owner is to avoid both promotion and relegation this season, sell the high rollers and buy cheap.

Again only allegedly, this is why Derek McInnes turned down the chance to manage them - and let's be honest, it would have to be something pretty rotten for him to do so. He's achieved all he realistically can at Aberdeen.

You can only speculate as to why the Sunderland owners feel this way.

Good call

A more recent example - Southampton, who pretty much 'bottomed-out' against Dale in September 2010

I believe the Stadium of Light would be the highest-capacity venue for Dale to play a league match, were it to happen, certainly since the introduction of all-seater stadia

We're hoping Watmore gets a good run of form under his belt from now until January so we can get a Hogan-style sell-on if he attracts attention. The only problem is he's probably one of the low-earners (and better performers) so they might not necessarily see the need to sell when the time comes.

Remember the days (not so long ago) when we might have been quaking by the thought that they might come in for Hilly?

Hence "were it to happen"

You looked nailed on for the L2 title, if you don't mind me saying so

We have been playing either brilliantly or lucky,I would settle for a top seven finish now if I'm honest,we have got a couple of very good players on loan from Forest and they are due back in January, if we can't keep them until the end of the season then we will start to slip,I'm just glad that we aren't in the bottom two like this time last year

Pretty sure Jorge Grant is with you for the season.

I hope so Bart,I had it in my head that the loan was only until January but I don't mind being proven wrong,he's into double figures now and that's impressive to say he started as a sub in his first few games for us,I can't rate him highly enough, definitely one for the future (for Forest)
