Perks will always be remembers for those swashbuckling League 2 performances when he was with us in 2008 and before he went to Colchester to further his footballing development.
The Perkins we had here was 36 and in League 1 terms his legs had gone. Still an immense footballing brain and I'd think that Tranmere are getting a really good pro at a time when they are looking to solidify a League 2 playoff spot.
Thanks for everything Perks and if it wasn't for Darlington's Steve Foster's histrionics in that semi final you may have played in our first ever Wembley game.
