Rest of the Championship thread by Hunterhoop 10 Aug 2024 11:07Toyed with this idea last season. Shall we have a thread to discuss, comment on, cover the rest of the league? A place to discuss other teams’ results, performances, financial implosions, etc?
For example, last night, anyone catch either of the first two games? I didn’t. But somewhat surprised/worried Blackburn scored 4 given how they are meant to struggle. Was it Derby being utter sh*te?
Sounds like Preston are continuing in the same vein of being incredibly dull.
Clive, what do you think? Worth making a sticky? Might reduce the number of threads to manage.

Good luck to Rowett as Leicester seem a complete mess currently; and I wouldn't hold that against Cifuentes. People would probably point to what he managed with us as signs of a decent manager. |  |

I said at the time, why appoint someone like Mason if you aren't going to give him time. To replace him with 'Eric Ramsay' is just wild. They could do worse than Marti, took a far worse side than theirs and made them look respectable in a short time. | |

Virtually nothing is inconceivable in this league.
Today's game v Hull is one in which we have to show greater attacking intent. Of the teams we will face in the next five games, they have the most frailties which we can exploit if JS sees it fit to permit his team to show more daring away from home, in spite of their position in the league.
If not, that points differential between us and the likes of Pompey & WBA could tighten over the next five games. | | | |

Yeah I’m not having Saito playing like a shy child away from home as being on the manager. On the manager to pick him in the first place if there are other senior players available but when they cross the line you just hope they do the basics well and want it at least as much as the other team. | | | |
