And then add fat Ronnie Jepson into mix!!! After viewing his theatrics on the sideline, I'm convinced he is also slightly tapped in the head. I have no idea what he was bleating at for half the game, and I don't think the players did either.
Hilly and CB were literally p*ssing their sides for large parts of the game. I can only assume it was via the entertainment provided from the bury bench.
However, one of my favourite moments from today goes to big Jessy Reindeer. A big imposing figure strips off his track suit and I'm thinking "this big tank could be dangerous". He walks over to the sideline, gently pushes his way between Hilly and CB and stands in frobt of them as if to say 'you're in trouble now'. Just as the assistant ref holds the board up, big Jessy does some limbering up by doing some light jumps on the spot. On his 2nd jump, he landed that heavily, he undoubtedly went over on his ankle. Once again, our management team could not resist from bursting into laughter as the new Kevin Francis tried to hide the pain. Needless to say, after coming on carrying his fresh injury, every leap ended up in him sprawled out on his arse. Even better still, evertime he landed on his arse, I could see KH and CB just look at esch other and smile. I'm sorry, but he is one if the worst fooking footballers I have seen for many a year.
