It seems that we are to have some rather heavy rain over the next 24hrs and given the previous pitch condition down at giggle way is there a chance of no play on saturday....

We have spent nearly a Squillion notes on that pitch this close season for one reason and one reason only ----- to get our prestige friendly against our neighbours from further up the football food chain on!

It is now the finest pitch in England bar none!
That's a fact-a-shaker-mundo by the way!

Seriously though, what works have been carried out. I remember seeing something about a load of money being spent on it but cant remember much else about it.

Exactly how much is a squillion quid..... I cant see how giggles can afford to waste the amount in wages on a squillion like the did last season and spend the afore mentioned squillion amount again on grass... That surely would not compute to mr day... The JD deal surely is not enough to cover grass seed......
