Hery for Allen is interesting. I was disappointed not to see Hery on Saturday. Bennett straight in at right back is interesting too. I thought he was better further forward on Saturday and that his game suffered when he moved to right back.
I really rate Bunney, so maybe him starting alongside Andrew, instead of the pair coming into a game that is already in full flow, could yield results.

Hilly was also asked about Paddy Mcourt and he described him as relegation with a couple of spectacular goals which I thought, at the time, was a bit harsh given that he's only been relegated once in his career. Far from me to put words into his mouth, I think the general gist was that you can't even have one player who doesn't give 100% all the time. He conflated this with Hery and said the 'lollipops' were ok but if you give the ball away and you're not in a position you're supposed to be when not in possession then it's all for nothing. Balance I suppose. | |

For those not at the game after TOTAL domination of the first half with some lovely football, a Preston hopeful long ball (their regular method of attack) down our LB channel goes over the head of both Rose and his opponent. PNE player manages to outmuscle and outpace Rose, then goes onto to collect the ball on the byline, run unchallenged into the box and his cross come shot deflects off a helpless Lillis's hand to allow the same player to bundle the ball over the line.
KH was spot on. One mistake can kill you at this level.
