Sacked by Gillingham.

Strange man.

Possession with progression.

He is, but he took the Gills up last season when they had a brilliant start, winning 7 and drawing one of their first 8 L2 games (which I mention to point out that his team then lost at home to Dale). This season he had a terrible start, but a couple of recent wins suggested he might have begun to turn things round.

He could always go back to Barnet for about the 12th time.

A large VAT Dave

"It is always a hugely difficult time when a managerial change occurs and this moment is no exception," said chairman Paul Scally (the well-named Gillingham owner).

Yep, would love that. Him or some other bonker!

Can't help feeling we might see Flicker at Gigg before too long though.

Hill versus Flicker! Oof!

If you look back at Allen's management career it is full of short term appointments. His style of management works in the short term but not in the long term as his bullying tactics stop working with the players.
