Not sure I can give a strict yes or no for the current situation. Obviously yes the military should help and assist where possible and what they are doing at the moment in terms of testing and assisting with logistics is the right thing to be doing. In terms of policing Covid compliance I think that would a too stronger step too soon at the moment. In every lockdown there have been a small amount of people breaking the rules but enough of us have been compliant enough to bring the numbers down in the end. At the moment it's too early to know if the current lockdown is working or not. If it's proven that it's not working and one of the main reasons is seen to be people breaking the rules, and the police can't cope with the amount of work then maybe it makes sense for the military to assist but it would be a bold decision.
