Just back from the game.
Good start from Jennings and Hurst, Bosh running down the wicket early in his innings wasn't clever getting stumped*
Harris ok but Jennings and Flintoff superb (not withstanding Somerset bowlers putting it on a plate)
The home side were never in a position to chase such a total.
*Wasn't clever of me to leave my phone behind and have to go back looking for it. Lukcily the tidy-up crew had it. |

Apart from being at home I was trying to think of any other advantage that hasn't been mentioned anywhere.
Then realised that despite last seasons disappointment for both sides in playoffs, Maynard did not experience it.
Could that help Jim? I've no idea.
Let's hope it gives an extra edge to the blade that slices through the never having won a trophy label. |

Was thinking that maybe some of the netting would be removed making more seats available.
You'll know more about the situation than I so am sure you are correct in what you say.
I was looking at things from the point of view that winning the playoffs would now be the aim, get as much income from York as possible. |

Yep, a good start this morning.
For those more knowledgeable than I, what's happened with G. Bell?
Not too long ago he and J. Rew were rotating keepers at England U19 and both scoring runs.
Whilst Rew has continued to improve and make his Mark. it seems Bell has stagnated and would be playing 2nd 11 but for injuries. |

The FA Cup game 1990? before we played Palace away next round.
Didn't snow before or during the game but immediately after to the extent when leaving The Cem at 2 in the morning we had to walk back to Red Lumb as no taxis - or anything else - were running. |

Fifteen mins to go and no indication we're getting anything points wise.
It's been mentioned before, no need to panic and be overly critical. With games still in hand plenty of points to play for. Top 6/7 still to play each other next few weeks. Anything can (and probably will) happen. |

Apart from the obvious - illness, last minute problems etc. - I imagine there are a fare few Daleys who buy season tickets out of pure loyalty knowing full well they will not be attending every game for varying reasons. Not saying that will account for all none-attendees but probably the majority. |

Yeah, I've had membership reminder mail from Scott recently and probably met at one of the early exiles' day.
Just seems to me The Trust has had it's day.
As always, never say never, I may change my stance in the future. |

I can't say I'm a lapsed member 'cos although I joined at it's inception, I no longer (admittedly based on info gained from this forum) see The Trust worthy of support.
I suspect there's many more like me hence numbers not being published. |
