Reply | Where we fail - Wingers as back up defenders
at 09:48 1 Nov 2026
I like that JS is prepared to try and go at a team like Southampton, but the truth is that the style of play yesterday was very much dictated by the players available.
I've read a bit about how JCS should have played, but I think we all know what a risk that would be, and we have to look at the season, not the match.
An aside, but Lloyd being on the bench instead of Obikwu, tells us exactly where he stands in the reckoning right now.
I've liked Dembele's recent cameos. |

I reckon he was paid per word.
As for The Grapes of Wrath, talk about labouring the point.
And almost luddite in it's view of technology. |

I find him a bit wordy.
I'll stick to the TV show, cuts to the chase AND better to look at then some printed squiggles. |

I've only got a relatively small insight into what you're going through Mart, but that last post of a loved one starting to come back to you brought it back.
I'm praying you have the greatest Christmas. |

It's not the only reason, but a net spend of nearly £60m in 3 seasons on transfers, compared to our £10m, should give you a competitive advantage. We've taken a budget punt on players with poor injury records, and on players who aren't physically imposing. |

With acl's and feet getting planted in the turf as players try to turn, I'm also going to throw in the boot's studs and their layout. |

On a tangential note, is his first name pronounced 'Ocean'? |

I'm looking to book a couple of nights in london in November, as part of a present for a significant birthday for my wife.
My kids have got us tickets for a show in the West end, and I'm trying to find somewhere affordable and characterful, rather then our usual travelodge..
So I'll put it to the wisdom of the board - has anyone got any suggestions?
Thanks in advance. |
