There was a young man called Craig
For his job to score goals he was paid
He failed to do it
In fact he was sh*t
In a brothel he wouldn't get laid

People who support 2 teams...
at 00:33 29 Nov 2012

After Dale my second team are Newcastle, after going to Uni up there in 1998 I had access to a season ticket for the games and they have stuck with me ever since. As far as foreign teams go I always look out for SV Hamburg results after a stag weekend over there earlier this year which involved a SV game vs Bremen. Later in the weekend we took a trip to St Pauli FC to look at the ground and went to the local pub, the team photo in the boozer from a few years ago featured a certain Moriki Sako (whose face had been removed).

Apparently it was a fire drill as, if the road out of the ground is blocked for whatever reason that is the route the emergency services would have to take.

view from a vale fan
at 00:19 7 Nov 2012

Having been to the game i thought I'd give my view.
Port Vale are the best team we have played this season, and in Tom Pope they have a very good striker, but on occasion he went down very easily too.
McIntyre wasn't lucky to stay on the pitch, the challenge when he supposedly feigned injury for 4 minutes was a yellow, and he was given a final warning after another foul, but after that didn't foul again and when their winger was getting the upper hand again he was subbed off.
The sending off was justified and saw a subsequent coming together of players like any other game, but the challenge could have broken Jk's leg.
After that there was only one team in it, and we in my opinion got an undeserved point, but we battled hard and showed togetherness, something that last season we lacked in spades, and if George put his effort 1 yard either side of the keeper, I think Vale park may have imploded in a sea of boos.
As for the ref pulling quick free kicks back he did it for both sides all evening, hardly us cheating is it?
Vale fans appear to think they have a divine right to gain promotion this season, and they complained about every decision the ref gave against them, apart from the possibility of Kev Mc getting a second yellow, he made correct decisions all night.
I would also like to thank the Vale fan who told me 'I'd better shut the **** up' after I was agreeing that we may have gotten lucky this evening, I was hoping for a football chat on the way back to the car, but instead found a Knuckle Dragger.
If I was a Vale fan instead of trying to blame the result on the ref, I would be looking at my own team and wondering how on earth they capitulated so easily when reduced to 10 men, and how little old tinpot Rochdale managed to take a point of them, and could have taken all 3.

A few to choose from but Southampton away for me. Flew to game, few beers, sunshine, Mr Angry baiting, COG goal, Jonah Goal, train home just in time for the Football league show and Dale being the main game.
