Credit Card question??? 18:01 - Mar 24 with 680 viewsOccasional_Showers

I’ve got the refund from EasyJet but it’s gone on my credit card. It was on zero balance but now it’s on PLUS £2000. How do I get the money off that and into my bank account? Can’t get through to them on the phone ffs.

It won’t let me, the only option is from a bank account.

R.e Nicks suggestion won’t I get charged if I make an atm withdrawal?

you can apply online to transfer a sum from your credit card to your current account (with Halifax anyway). You have to give a reason, from a selection offered.

Surely, this is an option?

I did this for emergency repairs a little while ago

My credit card is with Halifax. Did you do this on the phone app?

online (balance transfer, i think...may be wrong). Was presented with a handful of selections to pick from as a reason. confirmed/in my current account the next morning.

Thankyou, I will give it a try. The phone app wouldn’t do it.

Good stuff, and re your earlier question most credit cards if not all do charge for cash transactions so don't go down the ATM route.
