We just can't score. We don't have an Ings, a Pele, a Lambert. Sport Republic have done it again. A massive squad, but we can't win games because nobody can score.

And that first half was disgraceful. A massive derby and they play like that. 6 points is all we have so far, with a very inexperienced manager. But doing experiments, with unknown managers, is what SR do. What an anti climax.

Best place for that (and him) would be Hull away at the weekend. Surely Hull, with no disrespect to them, is the chance for Downs to show why we spunked £7M on him?!?!

Damion Downes should be fit and raring to go on Saturday after his 11 minutes in 2 games for USA, flying back 1st Class and then 10 days of rest with a daily kick about with the lads at Staplewood.
