Dembele and Chair played well in an attacking sense at end of last game.
Saito and Smyth were both poor against Southampton.

It's clearly the end of Nardi here. Dropped for Walsh at the start of the season and now dropped for the emergency stand in, in Hamer.
There really is no way back for Nardi and if I was him, I would push for a move as quickly as possible. The club, for me, made a strange decision to drop Nardi for Walsh to create the better supposed profitable asset in Walsh. Now both Walsh and Nardi worth nowt. That strategy worked well. |  |

Nardi must have been 'called out' for the 2nd goal against Saints.....not to worry about Varane trotting back to recover!!! And contrary to several posters he has taken a hit for the Derby goal & one against Ipswich. I suppose he deserves to be dropped. I worry for the 'old man' in goal!!!
As for the other changes, hopefully Field will do a job but do not expect much going forward, Cook will give us the experience plus a bit more, Dembele did OK against Saints (the Saints goal was not particularly his fault, Kone back in, he has had his rest!!!
