Therefore i put a positive hex on the game and i can claim responsibility for our dramatic comeback! You can thank me later! Up the ruddy Saints!!!!
| I Wonder How Many Saints Fans Left Way Before The End on 08:03 - Feb 11 with 1186 views | SalisburySaint | Fortunately we applied the 4 goal rule, so stayed, but know a few others who left at half time. Having suffered the Tranmere defeat all those years ago it was great to be there on the other end of coming back from 3-0 down at half time Scenes at the end unbelievable, but most importantly the fans were still getting behind Saints in second half, even before we got our first goal, and after that goal we’re willing team on, as the other momentum once Stewart came on changed completely. Full credit to the 1,000 Saints fans there last night, as PatfromPoole would say it’s not always about number of away fans, but what level of support they give the team. [Post edited 11 Feb 12:23]

I gave up at 2-0 down and I don’t even regret it. Starting Archer was suicidal and Tonda is lucky the players dug him out of a hole. That’s a massive, Martinesque, red flag waved by Tonda. I don’t think we’ll even make the play-offs if he can’t see what’s right in front of him. It’s like the whole back 5 bollocks that was holding us back for months. Can we get a grown up in next please? It’s only a matter of time before Tonda’s looking for the Ausgang.

Heard the fifth go in on the way out. Long drive home and no way back from that. Had I gone last night I might have been tempted given how we played in the first half. But anyone who stayed until the start of the second would hopefully have been reinvigorated by the subs.

Our bench was very strong, and Leicester are down the bottom for a reason (well, a couple of reasons), so while I didn't think we would win it, it was never beyond the realms of possibility that we would get back into the game. Seeing the HT meltdown on social media was hilarious. Do these idiots never learn? All they have to do is put down their phone for 45 minutes and wait until the final whistle before venting their anger, or declaring their undying love for the club.
