Bit of a difference between him and Walcott though isn’t there? One was quite overrated and was a squad player for an FA cup winning decent PL team, whilst ones been the star player for a champions league winning team. As well as Bale proving that he’s still got it with some of his performances for wales and the few games he did get with real before he left.

If wages and demands were no issue then get him back as there is a massive difference (even now) in quality between Bale and anyone else in our current squad.

It would be exciting to see Bale in Saints shirt again.

But the team needs rebuilding and the owners need to spend some money on that rather than on novelty signings.
