Southampton V Burnley The FA Cup Verdict 10th Feb 2025 10:20
This should have been a game that brought a little life relief to Southampton supporters, instead it was possibly the worst performance that we have produced this season, it had little hope for the future either this season or next.

Charlton are 6th in League 1.
Unbeaten in 5.
Won 4, drawn 1.

Nathan Jones has found his level.
He should of never been appointed Southampton manager whilst we were a Premier League club.

Sport Republic.

Armstrong has had 3 seasons in the premiership and can’t cut . What’s the point of continuing to play him? Surely it’s better that he goes on loan scores some goals and ready to try and fire us to promotion next season. He won’t be getting sold as no championship club could afford him.
Downes has been terrible and not made the step up. He is made of glass and gets to many bookings. If he can be moved on great. But again I doubt there will be any takers.
As for Tall Paul he’s another in the long line you slag off. His first 3 seasons here we have treated him terribly. I wouldn’t blame him for not being interested. How ever he’s shown a good attitude and with a full season would get 10 goals in the league

Poll:

Has the Ross Stewart deal already paid off as Nick says?
