Southampton V Swansea City The Preview 17th Oct 2025 08:26
Southampton's game against Swansea City is a crucial one for Will Still, indeed it is the start of a week in which they face 3 sides in or around them in the Championship mid table, but it is also a yardstick to judge our progress this season by. 5

It’s a results based business.
No excuses anymore.
A Southampton win tomorrow is needed.

Starting Ross Stewart 3 games in a week has come back to haunt the manager.
He really should have known better.
A wise appointment by Sport Republic or another cheap option.
We’ll know more tomorrow at 14:30.

Meanwhile Ramsdale watches his World Cup place slip away on Newcastle’s bench.

WE MARCH ON

We thought that we had the answers, It was the questions we had wrong.

We haven't won at home since the opening day of the season (and some might say we were fortunate to win that). A win tomorrow not more waffle post match please WS.

Jam tomorrow

This is what some fans craved for - mid table championship.

I think we should win hopefully but it wouldn’t surprise me if we drew again after taking the lead .

All a win does for Still is keep him on a job a bit longer until he gets the sack .

I said it before I think Still will get the sack the moment our play off chances are mathematically out of reach so probably around April time . He’ll get the odd result here and there to not justify sacking him earlier.

Dragan and the lunatics will appoint llalana for the last few games before appointing another dud next summer .
