Our next 4 games
at 18:03 7 Sep 2023

Still relatively early in a 46 game season but the next 4 games could go a long way to shape our season :

Leicester City home
Ipswich home
Middlesbrough away
Leeds home

3 games at home and only 1 away , 2 teams that their fans ( the majority of them )will expect them to bounce straight back up . 1 team that was one of the favourites and another team that finished the season long run of winning games .

Leicester my favourites to win the league , Ipswich id tip to finish 2nd , Leeds should be around the playoffs and Middlesbrough are struggling after relying on a lot of loan players last season .

How many points - I’d take 7 now .

Sheffield Wednesday match day ticket prices
at 10:40 8 Jul 2023

https://www.swfc.co.uk/tickets/match-ticket-prices/

Cheapest tickets range from £45 to £27 for the the Kop seeing as we will be in the other end we can expect similar prices

CAT A £45
CAT B £42
CAT C £39
CAT D £36
CAT E £33
CAT F £30
CAT G £27

All adult prices so imagine we will be in the one of higher category’s so around £40 a ticket.?

They do offer discounts of£5 for members so maybe these will be passed on to our season ticket holders and members?

When we will go down ?
at 13:56 5 Apr 2023

In the pub after the West Ham game we were talking about when we would go down and would we rather go down away and Brighton or home to Liverpool.

We all said away at Brighton none of us wanted Liverpool to be the team to send us down.

Got me thinking what game do we think it will be:

May 8th Notts Forest away.
May 13th Fulham home.
May 20h Brighton away.
May 28th Liverpool home.

I think its going to be either by losing at home to Fulham home or losing away at Brighton

Not sure if anything will come of this? thats Man City and Everton "charged" now.

Can't see either club getting any points deducted.

20 odd points to stay up?
at 11:10 5 Feb 2023

Realistically we probably need at least 21 points from 17 games to stay up . Or just over 1.2 points a game which equates to 46 points over a season . Something we haven’t managed since the 2019/2020 season with arguably better players .

I’m stuggle to see where we will get them from :

Wolves H
Chelsea A
Leeds A
Leicester H
Man U A
Tottenham H
West Ham A
Man City H
Crystal Palace H
Arsenal A
Bournemouth H
Newcastle A
Notts Forrest A
Fulham H
Brighton A
Liverpool H

Brentford H still to be arranged

Hopefully we can but it’s going to be a very big ask

Brentford and taking the knee
at 21:48 13 Feb 2021

Just read this on the bbc

https://www.bbc.co.uk/sport/football/56057908

Wonder how it will be received and if more clubs will follow suit or will Brentford have a rethink?

Has the “taking the knee” lost the impact as Brentford have stated .

Fans back in October
at 16:08 17 Jul 2020

Reported on the bbc that providing the number of cases keeps falling / still under control then some fans will be allowed in grounds by October.

https://www.bbc.co.uk/sport/53441670

I would have thought that away fans will be banned (maybe for the whole season) and about a max 50% capacity maybe less?

Time will tell how the club will allocate any tickets when the time comes.

Flybe
at 23:37 4 Mar 2020

Looking likely that another airline is going bust.

This could have a major impact in the region as not only do local business people and holiday makers use Flybe from Southampton airport it also counts for about 90% of flights fro the airport.

Troubling times for all those connected.

FA cup 4th round ticketa
at 17:47 13 Jan 2020

Still no news as to when tickets go on sale for this , despite the game being less then 2 weeks away.

The club are obviously wiring to price it differently- thinking they can charge more for Tottenham then boro.

Can see it being under £15 if it’s boro but could be around £25+ if it’s tottenham.

I know tottenham will bring 4500 and block 42 and die of block 41 will need to move where as they won’t if it’s boro but Either way it doesn’t give them a lot of time to sell 20,000 tickets .
