It just goes to show without Jack Stephens playing we keep a clean sheet, The defence looked a lot better tonight and they played as a team.

Great first half totally different second half but we’re never really in trouble. If they can continue on playing this way we will be in with a shot at automatic promotion. Overall a good result and let’s keep it going. COYS.

Great win. First half performance was great and comfortable in the second. Could have been more. Given Preston are a good side and the pressure to win this game it was an excellent result. A change of keeper for the rest of the season is worrying though.

The only downside for tonight was the injury to Bazunu. I heard he maybe out for the season. We might get away with McCarthy for one game against a poor Preston side but with matches against Leicester and Leeds to come I hope Baz’d injury isn’t the defining moment of this season.

This was a complete performance, scintillating first half, professional second half. If we carry on at this level then we can do the autos - damn you Saints making me hope again!

Sorry for Gav, but I think this is a blessing in disguise, so much less messing about at the back tonight.

Yes we played well, but ultimately that was a against a very lack lustre Preston North End, they had nothing to play for and it showed. They didn’t really make us work at all, if I had travelled all that way to watch that game I would of have been pretty annoyed.

First half excellent. Second half forgettable.

Did Preston even have a shot on target? Could have had Fraser , Ryan not Forster, in goal last night and still got a clean sheet.

Good to see the back 4 in place that built out unbeaten run. Must have helped settle McCarthy. McCarthy's hesitancy on playing with his feet almost caused an issue. Shea getting a run out was also good.

Players crowding to receive a long kick was a bit of a throwback.

Nice touch Che scoring as well were doing a round of applause for a fan.

Super first half. That is our best formation and style I e a bit quicker out from the back. So let’s stick to it. Front three KWP and Downes all excellent. Adams is playing best I have seen him. So many runs in behind. COYR
