As I said before McCarthy has been making mistakes for a few seasons now and still continues to do so even with a new manager in charge. It’s just incredible incompetent and embarrassing that those in charge continually pick him. Sort the keeper and central defence out in this window before it’s too late. As you say Nick some of us have seen this all before 1974 and 2004 but we’ll still be there. I’m actually looking forward to feeling happier after games, visiting grounds I haven’t been to (Rotherham and Preston to tick off ) and enjoying time with mates. It beats shopping on a Saturday afternoon and I’ve been saying for a while how the premier league is dull, boring not competitive and a closed shop for the bigger clubs. Whoever goes up little Burnley , Coventry perhaps, Luton perhaps, sheff Utd we all know will probably be sunk without trace. Just what is the point. |

Nothing to do with players not stepping up for penalties. Southgate had his chosen ones and he wasn’t going to change it. Grealish has said he wanted to take one but wasn’t allowed .I’m baffled as to why Grealish wasn’t given more game time as he looked good every time he featured. Dissapointing. |

A good all round performance with everyone pulling their weight. You could see the confidence growing as the game went on which was a bit fragile at first and palace took advantage. I loved the way JWP can get a bit nasty now. Saints are often far too nice and they don’t know how to play the game that some other players of other teams do so well, we are sometimes too nice.
Ings was superb, Armstrong Adams and JWP excellent, Forster did well and Salisu is going to be some player in a year or two. Let’s finish the season strong and buy a few quality additions in the summer to help Ralph out. We also need to sell a few.Up the saints. |

For Salisu see Forren, Caceras and Danso . Salisu Obviuosly suffered an injury that’s probably why others did t come in for him and it’s taking a lot longer than expected to heal. A fit Salisu would have been far too expensive for Saints. I hear he is thought of very highly . Let’s hope this ends well. |

So from what I understand Ralph wants Weston Mackennie after admiring him from his days in the bundesliga , Wolves and Leicester also want him. Ralph wants to sell Hoijberg to get money for Mackennie Levy won’t go to saints 25 million price for Hoijberg . There are other clubs Interested in Hoijberg from abroad as well as Everton but Hoijberg wants spurs only , all a bit messy. Ralph won’t be happy if he misses Mackennie due to Spurs mucking about and Hoijberg only wanting Spurs . |
