I tend to agree with what you. I wa t to see more of an end product and even better corners like the near post ones he too early last season. I am not convinced about his shooting either. I prefer to see Smyth or Saito start on the right. |

As you said, I've seen them given too. QPR players should have appealed for it, although the ref would probably have ignored them. It often happens that if they appealed and then had another appeal the refs often give the next one. |

In contrast to them, QPR fans have been extremely loyal and we get as many now as we did when in the EPL . My brother is an Arsenal fan and watched the Hull game with me and said he was very impressed with the fans loyalty given some of the crap we have put up with. |

I was fearing the worst when he came on, but he was very good with what he had to do. |

That is a good record to have. Maybe he will keep his place for the Norwich game, I think he has played well as a left back as the stats above show . |

A proper match played in good spirit by both teams. No bad tackles, no time wasting antics, no physios needed, just end to end attacking football, 5 goals and more importantly, 3 points for a somewhat rare home win. Thoroughly enjoyed watching that. |
 | Forum Reply | Saito slide at 21:10 23 Nov 2025
He came on yesterday and twice got to towards the byline and cut the ball back, the first was over hit and the second picked out Kolli whose shot was saved. That's what he needs to be doing more of. |

I was at the game and thought the same, but having seen it on TV I think k he meant it. |

I’m concerned that Walsh is nearing fitness and will return to the starting line up. I agree that Nardi is not wanted by Stephan and is likely to move on in January. Hopefully Dieng will return. |
 | Forum Reply | Centre back options at 18:54 19 Nov 2025
I would send Akindele and Smith out on loan to a decent League 1 side in January (with a recall option in case of injuries to the CBs still at QPR). As for next season, I expect Cook will leave, but Dunne, Morrison, Mbengue and JCS will remain, the latter still out injured. Akindele and Smith (depending on how their loans went) will join the team 1st team squad. |

I was also infuriated when Vale came on for Dembele. What did Vale add to the performance? Smyth world have tested their defence with his pace. Burrell could have played down the middle when Kone was subbed and this would have added pace for counter attacks, as Sheffield Utd were pushing players forward in search of a goal. A missed opportunity in my view, but I suppose stopping the rot and a clean sheet maybe was Stephan's priority. |

Couldn't agree more. It isn't just down to the players' performances, but more to do with fitness and training programmes. Also, maybe down to Stephan's management. |

I agree that the back 5 played well, although I suspect RND will be back against Hull. I also think that Chair did a lot of defensive work and helped Field on the left. It wasn't a great performance, but it stopped the losing run and a clean sheet was a welcome bonus - a specific well done to Hamer on his debut. If he plays like that in future games neither Nardi or Walsh will get a recall any time soon. |

I thought exactly that when I heard them. It could have been gunfire at the Somme |
 | Forum Reply | Chair…since he’s come back at 22:43 7 Nov 2025
Not to mention that the only shot on target at Derby was from Chair after he came on as a sub and Burrell scored against Ipswich following up the former's shot. The defeats have come about because if individual goalkeeand defensive errors and poor shooting and finishing from the attacking players. The poor quality from set pieces (or lack of practice on the training ground) don’t help neither do the stupid nonsense short goalkicks. As pointed out he didn't play against Millwall and was a sub at Derby. The Ipswich and Southampton defeats were down to defensive errors , as were the other two games, Chair was not to blame. As stated, people overlook the work rate Chair puts in, he wouldn't have allowed the Southampton player to go on that run and shoot without a challenge as Dembele did. When he came on to replace Smyth I said it was a mistake because he wouldn't be tracking back and getting tackles in. Stephan needs to find a solution and I hope he does it soon. |
 | Forum Reply | Kolli at 22:15 7 Nov 2025
Totally nuts. If only Rueben knew more about football or at least had contacts that do, then he could appoint someone else to run the club that he is spending millions on each year. Kolli should often be be in the matchday squad and Stephan should be the one to decide who plays. I think he should be insisting on this . |
 | Forum Reply | Throw-ins at 16:38 5 Nov 2025
When I saw the title of this thread I thought it would be about how useless the QPR throw ins were. They are terrible and look as if the idea is to see how far the taker can get the ball into the area, rather than aim for a teammates head for a flick on or attempt at goal. I think they need to practice throw ins for both creating chances but also on retaining possession. While I am at it, can they also practice attacking and defending corners and free kicks, especially the latter. QPR's ser pieces this season have regressed . It's time to hire a set piece coach. |
 | Forum Reply | Our fans today were pathetic at 16:05 2 Nov 2025
Ditto. The fans didn't miss anything other than some absolutely pointless time wasting antics from Ipswich players going down feigning injures and the ref (if I can call him that) added on an extra 7 minutes for us to endure. |
