Leeds Sources Claim Che Adams Move To Elland Road Is On
at 21:06:04

I'd be furious and hugely disappointed were we to loan/sell Ché Adams to Leeds. It makes no sense whatsoever and surely Ralph is right to dig his heels in on this one and block any move.
Yes, he's not yet scored for us in the PL but he's a quality player and could be a massive asset for us once he finds his form. His performance at Chelsea was superb and the assist on Saturday for Ings' winner showed what he can do. Once he starts scoring I'm sure he'll go on a run. So, under no circumstances should he leave Saints. Leeds can p!ss off!!

Saints At Chelsea The Verdict
at 22:19:11

A great summary and, yes, it was a thoroughly deserved win to pick up a massive three points. We were superb from start to finish and, for once, managed to keep a clean sheet as well as scoring two cracking goals.
I was proud to be amongst the Saints fans at Stamford Bridge and we out-sang the so-called Chelsea fans throughout.
The gap from the relegation zone is still only three points but at least we go into the second half of the season with a sense of hope and purpose!

Saints Plans Held Up By Blues Managerial Change.
at 17:17:53

It seems that we all got excited prematurely over the news of Che Adams' immanent arrival and now it's got bogged down in an unseemly tussle over a fee. If we let the deal slip away, it will be a massive disappointment. Surely it makes sense to match the club's valuation. £16m for the player does not seem unreasonable given the huge need we have for a proven goal scorer.

Do you think there's a chance it will still get done?

Saints At Huddersfield The Verdict
at 11:07:52

Thanks for a great article. Yes, the belief is back and after a truly miserable period under Pellegrino and Hughes we finally seem to have recaptured some optimism and hope.

As you say, there will be twists and turns to come and it will only take a few defeats to drag us back into danger. The West Ham game is crucial and we really need to continue the momentum by winning that match. Beyond that, the fixtures against Man City, Chelsea and Leicester will all be tough and we can expect to drop points in that period. But there is still every reason to be cheerful and I see a bright future under Hasenhüttl.

The Slate Will Be Wiped Clean Under Hasenhuttl !

Thanks for the great article.
I’ve been supporting the Saints since the 1973-4 season, when they were relegated into the old Second Division. Despite the gloom that gathered then, and again after we dropped down into League 1, more recently, this current period is probably the most depressing I’ve endured.
There was so much hope at the club under Pochetino and Koeman but that has all but disappeared. It would be diastrous if we go down again. I just hope that Ralph H. can turn it around. You’re bang on, though, about our defence, which is currently far too porous. The January transfer window will be vital for us as we definitely need to strengthen that area of the team. I’d also like us to bring in a proven goal scorer.
Let’s just hope that the tide has turned!
