Are Dale still part of the Fair Game organisation? Thought i read (on here) a while back we'd left due to them employing someone we weren't happy with |

Apart from not knowing what year it is, does that offer mean £10 per game (i.e. no better than just turning up with or without a Dale ST) or £10 for all six games? Not specifically asking you, Sandyman, but it really does need clarifying. Someone? Anyone? |

Just checked, and that's how it appears There's a section on the Dale Trust's website (published yesterday) about the Trust's commitment to this "initiative" - needs clarifying exactly what benefit is being offered that wouldn't be available to all [Post edited 29 Apr 20:20]

Can we take it from that, you're against the Dale Trust rearranging the postponed meeting with their Hornets equivalent, as posted earlier? Even if such a meeting were to benefit both clubs? |

A lot of the animosity from a section of Hornets supporters comes from knowing Dale are better-supported, in a town where overall local support is pretty poor I suppose those gloating over our exit from the EFL thought we'd been pushed closer to Hornets level. The fact is, we're both in the same boat and until a few short weeks ago, both were about to sink A lifeboat has appeared and for the nearly-drowned to scramble aboard only to start fighting each other seems such a waste of time and opportunity |

That's a great idea, and no better time for a thaw in relations to happen than now I expect our new owners won't understand or tolerate any animosity, given their focus on community relations and the overall benefit to the town I've watched Hornets over the years, but not recently. The opportunity afforded to Dale ST holders to watch at a discount (if they're into rugby, appreciate many aren't) suggests a ST deal involving both the football and rugby teams might be looked into. Since costs are likely to rise anyway and the cashflow over the bar would increase, it'd be daft not to. No-one has to think of it as one side subsidising the other since both teams are now being subsidised, towards the goal of commercial viability. That would be more easily achieved by joint initiatives Time to set aside wasted loathing, and look to the bigger picture [Post edited 28 Apr 23:27]

Your comment was understood, in context Our final goal of the season was football at it's purest: ball won in midfield, pass delivered with precision and finished with aplomb. Instinctive, players not having to think or second guess whether the manager would approve Set them free, Jim |

Your OP is fair You're not asking anyone to determine our style of play (as some have, unsurprisingly, misinterpreted it) but asking who will be thinking twice about renewing their ST given our current style of play Your criticisms of our final home games is also valid Don't be put off, or feel the need to justify yourself just because some seek to twist your intention |

Further update from the Trust received this morning, which i believe should be fully supported, in letter and in spirit As per previous, the pre-emption of shares is primarily to ensure the Ogden agreement(s) are seen to be watertight, and fair on all parties |

It's good that the Trust volunteers can do so successfully |

That's what i was getting at Have the Trust been able to identify all shareholders, whether Trust members or not? And if so, why can't the club? |

The Trust has taken up this issue with an email this evening A positive thing to do. Just wondering if it's addressed to Trust members who're shareholders, or all shareholders? |

Yes, thankyou James, it was read and noted Get those brooms ready... |

You've done all you can, as many have noted previously New brooms need to be swept, sooner rather than later |

Yes, that's the takeaway from the email Looks like a matter of making things watertight and it seems likely the Ogdens will have had major input into how this has been formulated so let's hope it doesn't lead to any unnecessary delays |

I think most of us understood what you meant by a "prove it" year Your point about "people voting with their feet" is the key one |
