He's in heaven now. I earmarked this post because I felt the blind optimism and the actualite were poles apart and couldn't resist coming back to poke a little fun. However, the previous poster has stolen most of my thunder.
I thought Warnock was always going to be a disastrous appointment. He has no tactical nous as was clearly evident when the plonker played us home and away last season. Yes, he's a motivator, but that ain't enough these days. I predict Leeds will do an Ipswich after they first appointed Keane and then the subsequent managerial disaster. The quality of club ownership is another common factor.
Leeds should be in the Premiership. No doubt, but that place has to be earned and I'm afraid the gulf looks even wider this year than last year. After promotion from League 1 with us, when you looked a dead cert to follow us up to the Premiership, it is clear our two clubs are going in opposite directions and with our two managers in place I can only see that trend continuing. Snoddy is no mug. |
