Thank you for doing this. I sit in block 1. It was helpful to read this before going to the game. Had been considering shifting mine and my son’s season tickets after going to the pre season friendlies. The 1st one being particularly toxic with the stewards. The Leeds game seemed to go ok. The atmosphere between the fans and the stewards was fine. 2 quick things. I don’t think people are aware that the surge to the away fans when a goal is scored is being monitored. I didn’t realise this was a specific issue until reading your article. The club / correct channels may need to gently remind fans that it is an issue. Secondly, the selling of boxes, above the Itchen North stand, to away fans creates a serious issue and perhaps the club should consider selling those particular boxes to home fans. Maybe that might be an easy solution to the tension that causes. Cheers. |
