Mounts in Swansea is my go to place for MOTs and a look about , tidy staff , bikers also .
Colleague just passed his test and still on his chicken chaser went to M+P Gorseinon for a trade in on his 125 , but a big company like that were not flexible in price negotiation.
He liked a bike there but a deal could not be done , sure smaller places would be grateful of the exchange and purchase of an upgrade , his 125 is immaculate too .
We talked about his Bike Test , online stage modules including BHP limits for new passes .
A word of advice I had from my tutor back in the day was Life Saver Check .
Going through Winch Wen Industrial Estate with an examiner on my tail I certainly used that
heads up on every occasion possible .
He must have liked it and passed me .
I still use that practise to this day , habit drilled into me by a good instructor.
I despair at some or the youngster who find it ok to go on a busy road on a bike wearing just shorts , T Shirts and trainers for safety . |

Yes , Walkabouts pub later on the site of the old JTs .
The entrance to the downstairs workshop doors are still there .

Two stroke so had to hand pump some oil into the tank then shake the moped about a bit to mix fuel .
Got it from Prichards in Treboth , main road shop . JTs was at the end ot The Kingsway then .
Think Sin City is now on that site . |

Puch 49cc , yellow , mates had FTSE 50 fizzies , great days as a kid , pedal kick start or pedal harder when going uphill it was supposed to have helped up the gradient ahead .
GSF Bandit on now , great bike but as mentined earlier the roadskills of driving a bike to some of the car driver idiots more concerned with their phones is a worry on a ride out .
Some of the bikers I see passing me on occasions I do think why , so dangerous to you and oncoming traffic who could be innocent and on a day out .

Discussion on tele earlier , Tories are dead against the Labour Manifesto clause to bring the voting age down to 16 .
They fear the youngsters of today are so brainwashed and educated to believe in diversity and inclusion , gay rights etc , the new voters will go for the woke agendas and all things Green .
Thus losing the true art of Political Debate across all topics of importance to us , added to votes being lost to others against the Conservative values and beliefs they hold seems a concern to the Tories .
Good points made . For now my pencil and pencil sharperer will remain in their case .
So far both main leaders and Parties must be neck and neck in the polls .
Totally O/T but seen The Ukraine Ladies Football Team in Swansea earlier , taking photos of Swansea Castle and the surrounds , few beauts hanging about in Castle Gardens then as normal . Wonder if they got into the landscape

Still will be till they shut the Blast Furnaces down and convert to ARC .

Port Talbot will now produce non carbon steel , many of their customers now will turn to the likes of China and India for their product and buy it . Top grade steel on our doorstep and we let it go with a wimper .
Biggest air polluters based in Asia are filling their boots by exporting their stuff to the UK now with our industries on their backsides . Do they care about the ozone layer .
I do like Owen Money shows on Radio Wales though , wish he would decide which football team to support as his go to , some weekends he supports Swans , Liverpool and Cardiff .

Micheal Laudrup , a real dark horse outsider changed the planning of The Swans game .
Martinez and Rodgers set the standard of The Swansea Way , both excellent managers whatever their reasons for leaving , another hot potato in supporters views .
Player power drove Laudrop out , gossip and rumour still abounds over that call .
I enjoyed what he brought to The Club , ending up in a Wembley Cup final , great day out.
Russell , Brendon and Roberto move on , contract is up soon plus the big boys are interested in my achievements , worth a look for my own interests .
Looks like Chelsea are moving in on the Leicester City manager , name escapes me .
First ask would be a nailed on Seven Year contract , you gave Potter one , gone but sunning himself on a beach with the Stamford Bridge compensation package .
Russell Martin , good luck to Southampton next year , will take a passing interest in their results but it will not be based on another former managers success or not with us . |

Yet our Army now need to include and educate wannabe ganstas , street cred idols , innit.
Sure the Armed Forces will welcome this Sunak pledge , they have enough to do now .
Jails are full , early or soft option of day release , care in the community to fit it now .
Murderers and serious criminals on a daily walkabout , but they are not a threat anymore.
A vote winner for his ideas to many , maybe another failing , like his Rwanda plan . |

Issue is talking about immigration , legal or illegal is a discussion taboo , do not go there .
Say the wrong thing and the racist card is played , Human Rights lawyers love it .
Sunack promised and spent millions on his Small boats pledge , we will stop it , nice one .
Spin and Mandates will dominate my telebox for the next six weeks , news in overdrive .
We have a vote , some Countries do not , their ballot box is a nailed on result whatever .
Pains me to say it , the multi millionaire Sunak has got inflation it seems under control .
Kept the petrol in my car when Ukraine /Russia kicked off , energy bills went North .

Who has the answer to the small boats issue and illegal criminals arriving into the UK will play a major role in my voting choice .
So far neither of the main parties policies fill me with confidence , Sunack has dropped his Rwanda plan and is on his starting blocks ready to do a runner if it all goes wrong .
Starmer , so far all waffle about tighter border controls , checks etc , actions needed now .
Of course he was a Human Rights activist before , as was Blairs wife , both making a mint in advising migrants of their rights here .
Blair started the open door policy of immigration , countless PMs since have been unable to close the door since , all Home Secretaries since have failed dismally too .
Unfortuately cannot base my vote on Mandates and promises , all nonsense soon to be broken asap anyway .
Get controlled immigration right , that Party will get my vote . |

As a neutral in Political and Politicians of any Party , is this a heads up of events in July .
If so , need to check the odds on The Reds in the next big showdown . Ladbrokes anyone .
Just why are Senior Tory MPs jumping ship now .a MP salary is around 90k per annum for hopefuly honest members . plus dubious expence claims .
Their peers are multi millionaires and will thrive on future PR and book signings .
Much as I dislike them all the threats and murder on some of Westminster is tragic .
90 grand per year to get stabbed , no way for me , add in emergency services too .
Premiership footballers , their wages are obscene to the real world we are in .
Time to pin the tail on the donkeys rear end blinfolded looms . |

We thought things were bad in Westminster , Sunaks and his misses wealth income just been disclosed , man of the people , my ass .
Senedd and WAG another gravy train of freeloaders on our own doorstep , added to by the fact they want to shoehorn even more of these nobodies into their inner cirle .
Drakeford a dinosaur , surely an obvious sign from day 1 of his tenure , Wales is now in reverse gear , apart from Cardiff , a useless First Minister , gone and forgotten .
Vaughan Gething , so far in inspires no confidence , waffles a lot as per Politicians .
Now trying to dig himself out of a hole over dodgy donations , in a hole stop digging mush .
Welsh Politics alongside the Houses of Parliament debates , we are being taken for a ride .
Monkey with a Red Rosette attached to its chest would get all votes in Wales as my old man used to say , never asked him who voted for , not the given thing then .
Still vote at every opportunity , my right thankfully , unlike some parts of the World sadly .
AMs and MPs across the board , sure there are good ones out there doing their best .
Now for me my trust in any Politician is rock bottom . |

Last week a fella came into supermarket where I work , a TV from my first eyesight contact .
The high heels , crop top and mini skirt he was wearing took a bit of afterthouught by me .
He was a customer , no trouble , got his purchases and moved on , like it like that .
He was attracting attention from all in the shop , one male regular punter did start talking a bit louder during this , should not be allowed out like that , etc . maybe a dinosaur .
Later that evening texted my daughter of this chaps appearence and looks , only as a bit of people watching and banter .
Reply from her was encourage diversity and inclusivity now well done to him out there and showing his true inner feelings .
Seems Swansea Uni and Further Education now have this on their directives to educate .
Caught a bit of a News Report earlier waffling on about the age children should start being educated on Sex Education in Schools , onus chucked back on to teachers when they advise safe sex to the youngsters , another system is failing , teachers to blame again .

Had some freebie tickets some years back to see The Mikado performed at St Davids Hall .
Total so whatever attitude followed , no big deal if it is rubbish , give a look .
Somehow I enjoyed it , cast were great , played their parts on stage as per script .
Will support my local Theatre more Pontardawe Arts Centre , struggling now because of Council cuts to local funding issues ,
So maybe said money for Cardiff bases WNO would be better spent on local venues .
Did not attend the show myself , Lindisfane were there last weekend , seems a good event was appreciated by the the community , more effort required please WAG . |

My fault , I brought Corbyns name into the debate , politicians are our very well paid voice in Westminster , Cardiff Bay , voted in on honesty and promises to do good , of course you do .
Z list celebs from Love Island , Big Brother and the rest of these awful TV shows , so many viewers cling to their every word and comments , social media thrives on nonsense .
I just tolerate stuff on line , have a giggle at some comments , it is the tinternet mun .
Sadly so many wanabee stars depend on likes and ticks from followers the ego trip many wanabee stars crave , they do not get , so then resort to topical issues , let it go .
How many of our younger generation are dependent on reactions and I want to be liked .
Sound role models I remember growing up with are sadly passed on , parents , etc .
Unfortunately children today take comfort from their phones instead , so sad to see . |

Few Years ago when TATA Steel was on its backside , alas still is even now .
Jeremy Corbyn , then Labour leader , waved the flag and another PR chance visited my work station , walked straight past me without a nod or acknowledgement , say hello mush .
TV Welsh News later then broadcast his concern for Welsh Steelmaking and survival .
Hoping to see my meet and greet scene with him on tele that night , but he blanked me |

Back in the day , a serpent wrapped around a dagger , or said dagger through a skull were the norm , Indian Ink was I remember used then , love / hate on knuckles , dodgy person .
Too old to start experimenting now with body art , but still even now , not for me .
Seen a young lad recently who had a Jesus thorn Crown across his neck an awful sight .
Some markings I see are fine , low profile and are personal to that particular person . |

Some abiet peaceful protesters ouside Barclays Bank Swansea earlier , pro Palestine .
Why that bank , customers must have been peed off walking into a area of no Political interest either side of the argument , I had been in HSBC , ex Park Inn to some oldies .
Henry Kissinger hat on , release the hostages , those still alive I hope , then talks start .
Israel stop carpet bombing Palestine , Palestine stop using innocent people as collateral damage as an excuse for their actions , placing hostages in the direct line of incoming .
Some reporter on BBC News earlier mentioned Russia could well hang out until 2026 to then take Ukraine fully , alas they are not interested in any peace plan , file alongside Israel .
Nobel Peace Prize for anybody who can resolve our Worldwide problems , good luck .
Just taken my Stetson off and handed it to Mr. Trump , he can resolve the chaos . |
