Southampton V Coventry City The Verdict
at 11:38:55

Wouldn’t blame Bree or central defence for goal, Adam Armstrong was marking man and switched off to give him space to creep in at far post, but that wouldn’t fit the agenda of having another subtle dig at Stephens

Southampton V Huddersfield Town The Verdict

I wonder at end of the season whether this result and performance be the one that makes the difference in getting automatic promotion

Brings back memories of MK Dons game in 2011, when 2-0 down Forte came on and scored two goals in rapid time and we ended up winning 3-2

Great character from the team and most of the supporters today

Southampton Fans Have To Turn Toxic Situation Into A Positive For Wolves Game
at 08:01:14

Spot on Nick, despite everything we need to offer the team our full support throughout the game, and leave the protests to before and after the game.

This is what we did in the Branfoot years and exactly what Everton did when we played there a few weeks ago.

Supporter Groups Hit Out At Premier League TV Fixtures Delays
at 07:38:46

Christmas and New Year games were actually announced yesterday, before this article went online, although most of January games which should also have been announced we’re not

However you are right to raise this issue, as the TV dates are continually announced later than they should be, and also Chelsea fans have had to twice wait until 2 weeks prior to home games to have the date and quick off times confirmed, the latest being the Man U game last Saturday.

The Premier League and TV companies are showing, utter disdain for supporters who attend games, and FSA and other supporters organisations need to continue to complain about this process.

Southampton V Watford The Verdict

Find you dig at Bednarek a little unfair, as senior defender it’s his job to organise and be vocal with other members of back three, which is what he did

New keeper on what I’d seen on streams of other friendlies looks assured and should start v Spurs

Overall looked solid with little treat up front, but hopefully this will be addressed in the next week

All Change For April - Dates Changed For Away Games

at least 8 London Saints will be in attendance A1079, plus should be a reasonable turn out from Northern Saints

Will be bit different at your local game at Leeds where only 6 tickets left, over 40 London Saints coming up for that one

if using the underground it is quicker to get Bakerloo line to Oxford Circus and then Victoria Line up to Seven Sisters, as there are short tunnels that link the two platforms when travelling in either direction at Oxford Circus

Southampton v Brighton The Verdict
at 09:20:00

I think if JWP had played the ball up the wing for our two forwards to chase, as he should have, instead of trying to play it to their feet, we'd all be talking about a win not complaining about a draw. Poor decision by JWP nothing to do with manager.

Leeds Win Makes It A Solid Start For Saints
at 12:21:54

Given that we only took 2 points from those 8 games last season, 7pts is a big improvement, and apart form second half at Everton and the Wolves game we've performed well in every game,

Now we just need to make a few more chances, and score more goals

Great summary Nick, although thought we were better in the first half than you give us credit for

And totally agree regards Redmond, who not only yesterday, but at Newcastle, Man City and Chelsea put in good performances, not that his critics would give him credit

Southampton At Chelsea The Verdict

sorry about your injury, wondered why you seemed so down on station afterwards, and understand now why you had so many pain killers (bottles of beer) in your bag, get well soon

after surviving the first half, thought Ralph's move to three at the back and pushing full backs forward worked well until sending off (not that his detractors will give him any credit for it), but we need to sort out the delivery of final ball into the area, which has been poor all season and a major reason for Armstrong and Adams struggling to score

Southampton At Newcastle United The Verdict
at 11:38:59

I don’t think defence was the problem yesterday, we only generally had problems from Newcastle yesterday on the break, often from poor passses from our team which left the defence exposed.

In attack for all our possession our final ball was often poor, and we didn’t get to the bi-line enough, when we did like with Redmond for first goal we caused problems

Still need to improve but promising signs from team as a whole yesterday
