That's the problem I'm afraid, separating the decent people associated with Portsmouth FC and the knuckle draggers who want to cause problems with people associated with Southampton and to a lesser degree those who reckon the bad feeling is due to a made up Dock Strike. |

Duncan and Gary are no longer spring chickens so bearing in mind their last Post War History ended with Season 2002/3 then they may not be in a position to undertake all the research involved to do a third edition in 2050 when the club has moved onto greater glory in th World Wide Infantino League Championship and playing in front of 80,000 home crowds in the Trump family Socca Supadrome on the banks of the Itchen. |

The Titanic Museum in Belfast cost £75m, half of which was Govt funded
Sea City in Soton cost less than half of that so this probably explains the disparity.
I have been three times but most of my mates dont even realise its there and complain there is nothing to do in Southampton |

Abdul 'Duke' Fakir was the last surviving member of the Four Tops.
He died in 2024.

I have a relative who works in the Police force and some of the stories I have been told in the course of their duties underlines the daily challenges and dangers those in uniform face.
It is not just the police but the Fire Brigade, NHS staff as well.
Taking a detached view of the circumstances relating to the stabbing in St Denys it is understandable that there is a sense of outrage.
That said the police attending the scene would have been influenced by the murderer and his brother and would not have immediately been aware of the stabbing.
There have always been challenges being a police officer but these have ramped up in recent years. It is no wonder that many young people joining the force only last a short while and recruitment is a major problem.
It is right and proper that there should be an investigation into the events surrounding the stabbing but the involvement of a known football thug, a failed actor and worst of all a US billionaire stirring up anti police hate does not help the situation at all. |

If I remember correctly the Spurs game was the first time fences had been put in at the Archers Rd end and the whole terrace was given over to the Spurs fans who proceeded to demolish the whole of the barriers near the end of the game. |

Ironically back in 1966 us regular schoolboy away supporters went to see Saints play Leyton Orient at Brisbane Rd but the game was called off due to a waterlogged pitch, I think so our coach driver took us to Griffin Park to watch Brentford play Hull in a Third Division game.
It was a bit annoying at the time but the replayed game ended up being our penultimate fixture and several thousand turned up to see us effectively win the rescheduled game and win our first ever promotion to the top Division thanks to an equalising header by Terry Paine. |

Apparently Tyler bought a house on the outskirts of Southampton prior to his move to Everton.
Many people thought he ought to stay but it could be argued that the £40m we are reported to have received for the lad allowed the club to acquire Lander, Aziz, Fellows and, Sceinza |

I was fortunate to be there when England beat West Germany to win the World Cup in 1966 and back at Wembley 10 years later to see my team beat Man Utd in the FA Cup.
Boundless joy that day and throughout the scorching summer.
I also remember walking up Wembley Way for the Charity Shield game and seeing a message painted in the side of the Stadium in big black letters...Harefield and Thornhill welcome Weston Wa**ers!!....and wondering what that was all about. |

Obviously I was very happy to have won quite convincingly but did have a little bit of sympathy for the small number of Blackburn fans who had to trawl back to Lancashire with their tails between their collective legs and looking at the possibility of relegation under the ownership of an Indian Chicken farmer. |
