Not getting carried away, as playing the weakest team in the league, but so much more organised and penetrative. Felt like some form was returning for THB and a bit of swagger from Armstrong.

Best game yet from Fellows. Jander could be very good for us, especially alongside Orial. Leo continues to shine.

Negatives- Jack always has a howler in him - nearly classic OG, Gavin has got short arms and the ref was constantly in the way. The win also makes it more likely that Tonda will be given the post which will probably be a mistake.

Back to back wins is very nice. COYS.

Yes a solid win but against a limited side. 571 days since our last consecutive wins. That really is something!

We now look more confident in attack but defence still looks like an accident waiting to happen.

Great to see Fellows and Azaz being allowed to show why we bought them.

Downs is frustrating though, he had some good final touches which is an improvement but he barely presses. Armstrong pits a shift in and sprints all over the pitch for 90 minutes. Downs on at the end and barely jogs around. If he would only put his back into it for 15 minutes he would win people around.

Sheff Weds were weak but great to get a bit of momentum.

Wednesday was all about the result today we needed and got a performance Not 100% perfect but a lot better Wednesday didn't offer much resistance and their keeper had a howler But we can only play what's in front of us
For me Goosy Goosy Jandet was MotM His goal should add to his improving confidence Glad to see Azaz and Arma get on the score sheet as well
I think for the first time this season I was watching a team performance

Like others have said, let’s take this in context. We SHOULD have beaten Sheffield Wednesday and so it came to pass. We appeared much more positive going forwards with less of the passing backwards and sideways than in previous matches. That clearly benefited the likes of Azaz who had his best game in a Saints shirt. That said defensively we were poor. What is the point of playing 3 CBs if we continue to give the opposition so many opportunities. Despite the goal - what was Jack thinking with the pass and Bazunu should have done better - Wednesday had plenty of other chances which with more composed finishing could have made a real difference. Their long throws created havoc each time which made their decision to play corners short a bit baffling.

Thank you to Tonda for the 6 points but on the evidence of the performances in the two games (against poor teams) I don’t think there has been enough there for the full time post.

A bit more lively going forward, great goal by Armstrong and nice to see Azaz and Jander get their first goals for us.

We still look shakey at the back mind. Not at all a convincing display against the bottom side.
