This guy will be cover for Finn Azaz and Leo Scienza Could end up being quite useful. |

RM would need to go some to get Leicester relegated to League 2. They certainly don't lack for quality players but they did lack fight last season and they certainly don't work as hard as RM demands. He needs to bring in a ball playing Centre back who won't get caught by teams pressing Leicesters defence. I suspect he'll want a CDM like Flynn Downes as well to win the ball back quickly. The issue he has is getting decent players to come down a league and identifying the ones in the lower leagues that suit his possession style. I wouldn't write him off at this level or Championship level. He just didn't have the players at Saints to make it work in the prem. It's bloody boring footy sometimes though and very frustrating with all the sideways stuff. I hope Leicester fans have been practicing watching paint dry. |
 | Forum Reply | Stewart off then. at 14:39 12 Jun 2026
I wonder what the £ per game and £ per goal was since he signed from Sunderland. We really only got bits of a season out of Stewart and when he did play, although good, he was only half a striker as Larin was playing the other half. I'd have to say overall not good value for money. We can get an upgrade on him and now is our opportunity to do so. |

I just loved Chris Nichols 4-2-4 formation with inverted wingers Rod and Matt. Very attacking at the time for a Manager that was a defender and they normally have that defensive mindset, but not Chris! I did like the Hummel kit, particularly the yellow away one. Unfortunately a girlfriend at the time put it in a tumble drier by accident and it didn't survive (I'd have had to lose about 3 stone to get into it again!) I also remember buying The Ugly in it's famous Red and White stripes cover back in the day. It was far better than the programme. I remember when Colin Clarke left and ended up at Pompey, they took the piss by saying, You heard of Edward Scissorhands, but now we have Colin Shovelfeet" |

That was the 2nd Season of going to the games home and away for me. Some great memories. I'd actually forgotten that Le Tissier actually started off in the No.11 shirt. About 10 games into the season Le Tiss and Rod Wallace swapped and he became forever No.7. |
 | Forum Reply | If Stewart leaves, could Brereton be the answer? at 22:36 7 Jun 2026
Brereton-Diaz did much better at Derby, but lets face it he couldn't be any worse than he was for us. He still wasn't pulling up any trees at Derby. 7 goals in 40 games isn't great for a side pushing for the playoffs. He also has a discipline issue. He was always getting in trouble with us and that continued at Derby (8 Yellows). Yes he is a bruiser of a striker and a goal threat, but we could just do with a bit more class to be honest. |
 | Forum Reply | Leading national press all want a ban for Eckert at 12:15 3 Jun 2026
We lost the PR battle weeks ago. This is now about coming out of it with the least damage to the club as possible. Screw the scummy press and what they think. The only thing that matters now is that the FA don't issue more sanctions. Hopefully just a fine for Tonda and maybe a "Dignity at Work" course. There are no sacrificial lambs required. The club need to pull together as one. |
 | Forum Reply | Tonda Statement here at 13:10 2 Jun 2026
That's enough for me. Meets my 3 requirements for him to stay. 1) Has the support of the dressing room 2) Has apologised and explained himself fully (not sure I completely buy into the "i didn't know the rules" bit though) 3) The club have offered Will Salt job security and are going to look after him. (Hopefully that's not just Tea Boy). If they are going to send him out looking at other teams, for his own good they need to get him better disguises and ensure he does his analysis 72 hours + from the game. |

I'm one of those coming around to keeping him. I agree with the comments below as far as Tonda is more a 1) than a 2) and everyone likes a winner. I wanted him to apologise to the fans, players and his analysts, but I think keeping his job requires he lets the club control the narrative until the FA investigation is concluded. He's therefore pretty much been silenced. I'm hoping we'll get the full truth from Tonda himself in the near future. He's got a lot of rebuilding of trust within the club and us fans. Lets hope that happens and we start next season with a bang. |
 | Forum Reply | What happens with Ramsdale now ? at 12:09 27 May 2026
I see a loan on the horizon to another club.. The club will want to offset his wages with a loan fee and he won't want to play championship football. Danial Peretz is a better keeper, so if he is willing to come back on loan I'd have him in a shot. |

All of football don't get found out, lie, then admit it later. We bent over to the EFL and they right royaly shafted us. Any operations that would have been happening at other clubs will just get more covert and more competant. Certainly won't involve kids using I phones in plain site 200 yards from the pitch. |
 | Forum Reply | HOW ABOUT THIS !!!!!!! at 21:44 23 May 2026
Don't forget we broke the rules. Yes there might have been a bit of horse trading between Boro and the EFL, but we were in no poistion to fight this off. If Saints go after the EFL it's only going to get worse not better. |

Not sure this helps. We all know we were thrown to the wolves. Plenty of Football people have said it over the last few days. The punishment level is harsh sure, but a lot of people also agree it was needded to stop spying happening at all in the future. It splits opinion and personally I think it's too harsh, however whats done is done. Lets see what the FA do to us now, then we know the lay of the land for next season. |
 | Forum Reply | I think I need help. at 19:04 23 May 2026
It's not all that bad. We could still get a playoff run going next season despite the -4 start. Thats f**k all over a 46 game season. The players that will stay with a few additions will be good enough assuming we don't go back to Russball under any new manager. |
 | Forum Reply | Well done Hull at 18:50 23 May 2026
The result 99% of football fans wanted I reckon. God I hope we stuff Boro next season like a well know Aussie soap. |
 | Forum Reply | Next seasons squad - Prior to new signings at 13:46 23 May 2026
I think thats overly negative. I think this side with 2-3 key signings could at least make the playoffs again. Leo is going to be the biggest loss as we don't have anyone else in there to unlock defences, apart from maybe Azaz and I think he'll go. If we can keep hold of one of them we'll be fine. |
 | Forum Reply | So, Next Manager Odds at 10:01 23 May 2026
Our players didn't want ot play for Will Still, he was not astrong enough character. I think Scott Parker will be a good choice. Totteham players didn't want to play forThomas Frank. That says it all for me. It depends on your group of players. Ours can be lazy. |
