OUT WITH A DEAL EATING OUR CAKE AND LOVING IT suck it up remoaners

And like a typical anti democracy remoaner he decided the will of the people should be ignored the minute the democratic result was in total fecking hypocrite 😂😂😂😂😂😂

Despite it being voted in to law by the commons the spineless two faced remoaner MPs have totally abandoned any morals and decided to ignore the will of the British people.

It will be remembered and no election or referendum will ever be the same again in this country.

The one thing that will come is a massive surge in the popularity of UKIP or a similar party in the future who stand for the 52%.

Happy Days.

You posted mocking people describing them as a book club and saying they were lazy students or mentally ill rather than hard working class like yourself.

But you carry on pretending you didn’t.

Fair do’s Lisa, you will never admit when you’re wrong. Quite sad really.

Lisa let it go. At no point did I try and say working class people don’t read, you’re starting to look like a prat. There’s people that I work with who read on their lunch breaks ffs.

And I’ve worked on an island just off Nigeria called Bonny Island and also out in Uzbekistan where the working conditions you act as if you know about are not illegal, so please don’t tell me what conditions I have and haven’t worked in. Hats off to your friends, im sure they are honest hard working people who are good at reading.

You think you’ve had it tough? What about that day her P.A phoned in sick so she had to fetch her own skinny latte from the shop?

With certain media factions now spouting that they are happy with a government that openly lies. Then there’s those within the electorate that are delighted to be lied to in order to get what they desire, even if it was always built on a pack of lies. Question, should that not wake up swathes of the population? I think it has and will continue to do so. The recent actions of the government and the continuation of lies with a happy clapper faction of the electorate openly quite ok about being lied to (which is bizarre) will in time back fire big time. As it’s so open now (lieing and smiling), for some it wail raise the question where do they (lies) start and where do they end? And hopefully they may start to see the bigger picture.

Dom C may have got this one wrong! Could it be that he’s stirred the hornets nest too much and woken up those silent in this debate for the last few years?

Are you really only now starting to question where politicians lies start and end? There’s no end and they start when they open their mouths.

Haha are you being serious? You need help. The first line was joke and nothing to do with the rest of the comment ffs.

My mum wouldn’t go to sleep without reading some of her book and I don’t think I’ve ever seen my old man with a book in his hands.

*Many of the most cultured, well read, open minded people I have met in my entire life have spent their working lives doing dirty, physically demanding jobs you wouldn’t last a minute doing, for all your posturing.*

Would using my confined space certs and squeezing into a small boiler drum (being 6 foot 4”) with a 9” grinder, a gas monitor, air feds and rescue team outside while I went to work a 12 hour shift for weeks at a time convince you otherwise?
[Post edited 30 Aug 2019 14:20]

You make it sound like your jango one kenobe or something lol. Use the 9 inch grinder Luke!

Don’t worry though as the ability you mention can be done by bots already. Within a few years that tech will be commercialised and rolled out you won’t need to do it anymore... neither will anyone else as that will be too expensive.

Remember when you moaned about Portuguese riggers having more qualifications than yourself and you didn’t like the fact you had to compete with that and that you have to keep up to date with skills, ongoing professional development as well as he knowledge etc? Depending on how old you are you may need to brush up on reading, comprehension and general learning ability...if you want to stay relevant. If not, those dastardly Portuguese will be the only ones standing errr I meant rigging.

Progress can be bitch!

No.

I’m questioning the possibility of walking up those that so far have not been engaged along with the many that have shifted positions. The reason, becuase of the lies are now being normalised as ok.

When has voting for the hard left ever resulted in dictatorships, executions, famine and misery? I can’t think of a single example apart from all of them.

Firstly, I’m not a rigger. Secondly, I’ve never ever moaned that Portuguese are more qualified than me. Thirdly, you haven’t got the faintest idea of what you’re talking about. Fourthly, I’m 34, started as an apprentice, then a tradesman, then a foreman and now an engineer. Progression. Fifthly, stop making stuff up.

I’m not....2 things.

1. I never stated you were a rigger.

2. Yeah, You did have a whinge (and use as a defence position in a debate) about Portuguese workers on a site (could well have been this thread) you worked on in London having a card or something that showed those workers as being more qualified or aware of some professional discipline than yourself or that of your colleagues, which affected rates etc as your colleagues. you moaned that it was the EUs fault for bringing or promoting OPD which you really didn’t like. I pointed out that all disciplines now have to have an ongoing OPD to stay relevant, knowledgeable, able and importantly employed.

But as with discussing anything Brexit, political with you on this forum you do have a penchant to quote the irrelevant, fail to understand the obvious and forget the facts (and your own words).

Warwick’s book club’ - light hearted joke.

‘I haven’t read a book since school’ being honest

‘Being in a book club would make me sick’ I said the thought of it and I don’t like reading, why would I join a book club.

‘I don’t need to read, I have a Tv’ was tongue in cheek.

‘I’ve never mentioned reading’. Didn’t say that. You ludicrously took me saying the people in the video were from warwicks book club (as a joke) and it twisted it into me saying working class people don’t read. Utterly bizarre

Not a single thing I’ve said there suggests that working class people don’t read books, which is what you said. Get it now?

Both occasions I’ve worked abroad we’ve fitted and then trained up locals on new boiler systems that we designed in this country. We used local labour and paid them more a day than they’d usually earn a month. I’ve never taken anyone’s job and I’ve never driven wages down. See the difference.

So you never said I was a rigger but you’re saying I was moaning that Portuguese riggers had more qualifications than me? Rigging is a totally different trade and have totally different certs. Stop confusing yourself. The London job I was on got rid of a load of riggers and sparkys and brought in a Portuguese lads a few days later on short term contracts on lower wages, absolutely nothing to do with qualifications. You’re reply was to suck it up, work harder and more hours hours so you can keep your freedom of movement. Utter nonsense.

* just too add, I would have no issue if we had to bring Portuguese lads in because they had skills or qualifications we were short of in this country*

It was black comedy and sarcasm central from steel erectors, riggers, slinger signallers, and steeplejacks etc. A vacancy was advertised on Totaljobs wanting quote: “CSCS card (Blue steel erector) CPCS for MEWP or IPAF Pal + for MEWP it would also be a benefit if you had CPCS crane coordinator card and CPCS telehandler card”….Here comes the taking the p1ss even more bit i.e. £11.00 - £13.50 depending on experience. IN LONDON of all places. Oh yeah, there really would be a lot left after paying for digs, straight off to the foodbank afterwards. This indeed is the future for all!

The guys of the older generation are all coming out with “It’s gone to the absolute dogs” and going on about the ‘ticket’ culture that is basically is a new-age rip-off industry. That New Labour song “Things can only get better” i.e. that is when all the sh1te started. The difference in employment practice and construction site management between bygone days and now is absolutely staggering. It's the youngsters and future school leavers I feel sorry for.
