Agree but they play in Europe so is it a level playing field? Can we recruit from Russia (or wherever) once they have played in Europe, Wilf played for Sparta Prague before heading to Holland and then us

Maybe the Ukrainian FA feel it can help their clubs be successful and are looking for an advantage. I think there is a route some of the big clubs use where they buy a non-EU player loan them to Spain for 3 years so they get Spanish citizenship then they can play them here, think arsenal did this with eduardo, could be wrong though.
