The trouble is the council have made it very difficult to take yiu rubbish to the local tip, aka recycling centre. You require an appointment at some and limited opening times at others. It is about time councils got their act together, better recycling centres, more litter bins emptied more often we pay them enough council tax to collect our rubbish.

My fortnightly battle with the bin men continues. if they can't park the bin wagon right next to the collection they leave it ,which is half the street, it's normally the black bags so they're left until they send a individual in a pick up to collect on their own which could be days after collection day, this is happening everywhere.
My gripe is two fold, in windy conditions they get blown everywhere invariable ripping open and adding to what is an already rubbish ridden area ( Schools are back and with it the huge increase in litter ) and its twice the cost in time effort and energy which we pay for in out council tax ). Road sweeper & litter pickers are but a dream around these parts.

Morning boundy.
Seems depends where you live.
Ours arent too bad,We have brown bins for garden, grey for recycle, green for non recyclable.
In wet Cheshire,it' more complicated. All sorts of containers left which strictly segregate refuse and its rigorously enforced.

The issue here though is dumping on an industrial scale.

People will drive to a beauty pot and unload instead of driving to a tip. This is becaue they might have to pay. This has to stop.

Good day sir, I occasionally work on the wetlands south of Frodsham and we've had to install numerous barriers etc to prevent tipping , its great place to witness wildlife but so depressing to see the lengths and distances some will go to dump all sorts of rubbish mostly of which is easily disposed off by the council . Perhaps Its the human condition to kill the planet

This is my point boundy.I know that part of the world very well. The view from Helsby Hill is a great spot to have your sandwiches or paninis.

Manley Mere is a good wild swimming spot too although there is a fee to pay and they only open for swimming 2 evening and Sat /Sun (early) morning-if you're interested of course..

Every council should set aside a ten acre site. Fenced off, but free for anyone to dump anything they like, aside from commercial/toxic waste. Then all the scrotes on community service can be tasked to sort it into the various recyclable groups.

Make those facilities available and whack up the fines for fly tipping to about £100k and the problem would end.

Pain or damage don't end the world. Or despair, or f*cking beatings. The world ends when you're dead. Until then, you got more punishment in store. Stand it like a man... and give some back.

Liverpool does not have a beach itself . If you want to engage with me on an anti scouse mission, you had better be more thoroughly briefed.

This is a serious subject and yet you try to drag it into the sewer.

Grow the fark up .

Bye

I think Crosby has one

NPT council is miles ahead of Swansea in it's recycling and collecting system, but even that is restrictive. They charge £20 plus to remove a large item. Most ppl won't pay that.I just leave metal outside for the pikeys to take and it's gone within hours.

House clearances are a problem, as it's well in excess of £300 for a skip, and you have to pay to get a permit. It's a costly business getting rid of household waste as not everyone has a large car or van.

What I find ironic is that I can't along with hundreds of other responsible dog owners are not allowed to walk their dogs on the beach between May and September but all sorts are allowed to trash the area like its Tir John baling plant.
It was sad to note recently that the area in front of the sand dunes by the observatory was being litter picked by local volunteers and residents which I'm told has had to become more regular as the increase in toe rags visiting the beach.

I don't want any dogs on the beach, sorry.

Its not a dogs toilet.
And we don't want children bitten.

Keep it on a lead, and take it somewhere safe and quiet.

And who made you king of the world.
Dogs have every right to be on the beach, owners need to take responsibility
Huge fines for not cleaning up after them.
If you don't like beach's with dogs on them then stay off yourself.

Go wild in the country

Swansea Indepenent Poster Of The Year 2021. Dr P / Mart66 / Roathie / Parlay / E20/ Duffle was 2nd, but he is deluded and thinks in his little twisted brain that he won. Poor sod. We let him win this year, as he has cried for a whole year. His 14 usernames, bless his cotton socks.

Im not keen on treading in dog shyte myself on beaches but there again, dogs do not drink bottles of lager then smash them on a beach so that your average toddler building sandcastles ends up inA@E and come to think of it,then leaveplastic crap and human waste behind a a souvenir for the next poor beachcomber.

I'd ban some people before dogs anyway
