The players we have can play the system but the issue is they need to get 2 years of playing a system out of their system.
It can be done but won't just happen magically after a few weeks. |
Not so sure about that cabango ain't a ball playing centre half for a start he too stiff too slow with his feet and decision making.our wing backs maybe Laird now be ok but bidwellbaint quick enough and not got a trick in him to get past in tight situations,Lowe well should take up brick laying as he never a footballer,not got a football brain can't hold ball just runs head down when got ball until he loses it like a kid on a school yard don't look to give and go to get it back can't link up ,no movement off the ball to drag defenders in and out,useless said it last season,and will continue we,we need better,imo if you want play possession based counter attacking football 3 at the back with wing backs is not the answer as to me just like Rodgers team and Roberto's team 4 at the back with pace and wingers out wide to counter quickly,with full backs supporting wingers to get outside and drag their players out position,with wing backs high up pitch it so easy for the opposition to mark as our centre halves I.e manning don't get up pitch to overlap bidwell leaving our wing backs to just turn inside or back..it needs changing |  |
