One thing the owners have done is spend money to support the manager. Cooper was backed massively with high loan fees and wages.

Not sustainable over several years. But it seems like we've been earning a lot more by selling players than we've been spending on them for quite awhile now. The occasional season where you spend more than you make is possible when you do that. [Post edited 28 Jun 2022 16:57]
