I thought all stewards had to have an SIA badge, and have it on show ,unless they are directly employed by a company |
Nope, I was never badged or a lot of my friends were not either. Stewards are just there to report if there is problems, also to help evacuation if an emergency come over the tannoy and to show people to their seats. For ejection and restraining people the badges are the only people that can do it. Safestyle have alot of sub contractors to fill events. I did do my stadium safety level 2 but that was only because of the scarlets wanting it done. I have worked the segregation line at cardiff city , half way line for the last game at Upton Park and as I said I was never badged.
Remember most the stewards are just doing this to top their wages up, for crap pay.... |  |

Mate Russ is a young manager he gets Swansea City. Results haven't been the best this year he admits that.
We are all quick enough to tear him to shreds , tear Andy Fisher to shreds. Alot of neo Jacks only know top flight football and our posh ground. They would have a culture shock if they ever stood on the north bank. I've been a Swansea fan for over 20 years we don't know how good we got it. I got a feeling in the summer with the obafemi, piroe money we are going places.
