Huddersfield Sack Darren Moore 12:41 - Jan 29 with 1735 views | SaintNick | There were those who were saying we should have sacked Martin back in September and appointed Moore in his place when he was given the Huddersfield job.

But in the four games before the run started, everyone of our players was worse than the oppositions, so you have to give him credit for having to work with a squad in July & August that he didn't know who would be in it in September and moulding it into what it became by the end of September. ,Who would of thought back on 23rd of September when we lost to Boro, our 4th loss in a row that 4 1/2 months later we would still be unbeaten

You keep saying its not whats in the past, its what happens next. Then you go and rake the past up lol. Anyway as SF73 said. What other championship club can buy 2 players for 10mill and then not play them? Comparing saints and huddersfield is chalk and cheese

Huddersfield are massive because they won the league twice.
| You cannot reason a person out of something they were not reasoned into. |

They won it three times in a row in the 1920's, also won the cup once and reached 4 finals and 2 semis in the period 1920 -1938, possibly the most prolific club in England in that period. Funnily enough their fans don't go on about it as our neighbours down the road do

No, our players were still better than the opposition's then, they were just struggling to play in the way martin dictated. We paid around £10m for squad player Charles which is literally more than the combined fees of most of the teams we are playing each week.

Arsenal won the old first division 4 times in 5 season in the 1930's and came 2nd in the interim year, and whatever happened to them?
Huddersfield Sack Darren Moore on 04:55 - Jan 31 with 958 views | areasix | SF73 says we have the money to walk this division but to our cost we have spent big before on useless players so money isn’t everything as we saw with little old Luton v Brighton last night You have to work as a team and that’s what team Saints are doing at present so we can buy expensive players but they need to gel as a team and Martin has managed with his tactics also got a squad to preform and fight till the last second of every game as we have seen by so many late goals they just keep trying and some expensive players don’t have that attitude.
