Perhaps not able to play Rustyball, but his record would suggest that he can keep the ball out of the net. I might be wrong but I thought was a priority for a Goalkeeper. Ooooh, I am so Old School.

The reason Lis was bought and loaned out was we were stuck with a number 2 being paid one of the highest wages in Southampton history and a young keeper who signed under the agreed understanding that they would give him a chance to proof his number 1 position to keep his international place etc etc and after this season will fight alongside Lis next year for number 1 and we will say goodbye as his contract expires to McCarthy. Lumley will always be number 3 as that was what they signed him for crap role but happy to take the money.
