As for the Brum goal his mistake was going to close the man om the ball who already had players tracking him leaving free and unsurprisingly young player make mistakes but it hurt because we should have won the game. Note that other players made mistakes in that game as well. |

Agree he was at fault but other players could have rescued him but didn't react quick enough to his mistake.
I'm sure the Juventus link unsettled him around the tranfer window period which to some extend is understandable would you jeopardise a move to them. We really don't know what loans parent clubs are instructing there players,which is one of the reasons not to have loans. |  | | |

Platino got sucked into the ball carrier, (who happened to be Demble who had been linked to us and he who scored the other Brum goal) Platino left Jordan free, 100 percent his mistake but once you see a team mate make the mistake you have to make a decision and react ,Tymon held his position worried about the winger and Humphreys was on the wrong side of the forward he was marking, was he thinking Tymon was going to close Jordan down and moved position to cover the winger, it all happened is seconds but Demble's driving run across the box caused panic and Patino didn't hold his position.
Edit... I was wrong about who was the ball carrier it was not Demble but he did cause us problems and did score their first goal. [Post edited 6 Aug 2024 7:50]
